OUR VISION:

To provide access to low-cost nutritious foods to children and lactating mothers that are in need of proper and adequate nutrition.

Why Peanut Butter?

Nutzy Peanut Butter is a low cost, nutrient-dense food that is high in protein and heart-healthy monounsaturated fats.
For these reasons various hospitals, food banks and NGOs are currently using Nutzy Peanut Butter for the treatment of malnutrition in children.

Why we give?

Millions of children across Nigeria do not have access to nutritious calorie dense food. This affects their immune systems, delays their cognitive development, stunts growth, results in a lower performance in education and low productivity in adulthood. Nutritionists step in and spend their own money to make sure children can see improvement in their health. We want to help alleviate the burden on these individuals, and give children across Nigeria an equal chance at the future they deserve.

OUR GIVE PARTNER:

Lagos Food Bank is a non-profit committed to fighting hunger and solving the problem of malnutrition through targeted programs that seek to improve the nutrition/food intake of pregnant women and their infants who are not able to get the required nutrient during pregnancy and breastfeeding of their babies.

With their incredible resources we will be able to distribute Nutzy Peanut Butter sachets to the infants, lactating mothers and under-five children across Lagos that fall under their Nutritious Meal Plan Intervention for Vulnerable Mothers and Children, (NUMEPLAN).

When children/mothers in need arrive at the Food Bank, their nutritionists will conduct a series of nutritional assessment to determine those that need enrolment to the program. All those enrolled with receive bi-weekly monitoring and access to Nutzy Peanut Butter sachets alongside other nutritious food items.
